Marshall Coats

Marshall teaches Bass Guitar, Jazz Upright, Guitar, Saxophone, Percussion and Theory(jazz and traditional) at Atlanta Discount Music. He has been teaching for 8 years on various instruments and has a BA in music composition from Georgia College and State University. Marshall has studied with Victor Wooten, Chris Vadala, Oteil Burbridge, Steve Bailey, Dr. Douglas O'Grady, Jason Wallace and others. Marshall's lessons tend to focus on the whole body and mind as a way to express music effectively through one's instrument.
